I am interested in the effects of urbanization on biodiversity.  How is it measured?  How is it monitored?  And most importantly, how is biodiversity managed and maintained?

Currently, I am summarizing some research involving the prediction of Eastern Grey Kangaroo-Vehicle collision risk in central Victoria, Australia.  The model identified roads with high likelihoods of collision which were translated to a graphic map.

This graphic illustrates the risk values per road segments in a central portion of the State of Victoria.

I am also interested in Grey-Headed Flying Foxes and the management of the camp in Yarra Bend Park; in close proximity to the Melbourne CBD.  Incident statistics provided by Wildlife Victoria demonstrate fly-out and foraging patterns across the greater metropolitan area.

Incidents reported of entangled flying foxes.
